UBEDA Manpower Training Center, Inc.

My photo
...is a family owned company incorporated through the vision of Mr. Paterno L. Ubeda, a professor in Pipefitting for more than 2 decades spanning from the days of what was National Manpower Youth Council and now, Technical Education Skills Development Authority. Through those years, he had perfected and mastered the art of imparting to students his knowledge and skills attained through continuous practice in both the classroom and learned on the job when he worked as a Pipefitting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for more than 4 years. Today, Ubeda Manpower Training Center, Inc.: - is the only private institution in the region certified as an Accreditation Center in both Pipefitting NCII and Plumbing NC II issued June 11, 2009; - has a passing rate of 72% in National Certification in Pipefitting; - have trained more than 600 pipefitters; - in terms of number and ratio of equipment, have surpassed even TESDA Regional Training Center in Batangas; - the only institution that offers community based training

Work Experience Required

In an effort to enhance the employment percentage, was browsing http://www.workabroad.ph/ looking for job opening for pipefitters. Actually there a lot. Problem is everyone requires at least 2 years of experience. When everybody knows, there is no opportunity locally to get the required experience and the fact that 90% of applicants are bringing FAKE documentation saying that they have worked for more than 2 years. Frustrating. Here you are making sure that people are trained well during the 26 days required by TESDA. Preparing them for the National Certificate NC II. When none of this will help them get employed. I did not see any companies requiring that they are holders of NC II. So what's the use? Are all this for nothing?
